Comedian Ron White’s performance, originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday (June 20 and 21), has been rescheduled and moved due to construction, according to a news release Thursday (June 19).

White was originally slated to perform at the Walton Arts Center, but he has now been moved to the new Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion, the release states.

Also, his Friday performance has been cancelled, and now he will just do a show on Saturday at 8 p.m., according to the release.

These changes came after it was decided that a $23 million expansion of Baum Walker Hall originally scheduled to start in summer of 2015 needed to be accelerated in order to ensure work is completed in time for the fall start of the 2014-2015 season, the release states.

Tickets will be honored and must be exchanged for a new seat on the day of the performance. Present ticket holders may exchange their Walton Arts Center tickets at the Walmart AMP box office starting at noon on Saturday up to performance time, according to the release.

Comparable tickets will be issued at that time. The gates will open at 6:30 p.m., the release states.

General admission lawn tickets will also be available for purchase the day of the show only at the Walmart AMP box office for $28, according to the release.
