The Arkansas Big Bass Bonanza will have anglers fishing a stretch of over 300 miles of the Arkansas River.

The anglers can choose to fish one, two or all three days of the tournament. The fishermen and women are competing for the title of largest fish, which comes with a pay off of $50,000.  Four others in the remaining four pools will win $10,000 each.

Last year a total of $202,700 was awarded in prize money. There were 2,014 anglers competing from 18 different states.

Clear Creek Park in Fort Smith is considered one of the five pools. The tournament is a program of the Arkansas Hospitality Association.
