The family of a man shot and killed one year ago gathered together on Sunday to hold a vigil in his honor.

Authorities said Bryant Crocker, 44, was murdered in his home in Shannon Hills last July.

Crocker was a former Razorback football player. He played football for the University of Arkansas in the 90's.

"We've been having a lot of heartache over this past year," said Felicia Thomas, Crocker's sister. "We're just here to let people know that he is missed and loved."

Police said the case is still an open investigation.

Crocker's family said they are hopeful though someone will come forward and help put an end to this.
