The Fayetteville Animal Shelter also offering free adoptions of any cat or kitten. There was a limit of two cats per adopter.

"Well, the reason we are doing this, is because during the entire month of June we took in around 110 cats," said Tony Rankin, Program Manager at Fayetteville Animal Services. "So, we were pretty well overburden. Our shelter was just really overcrowded."

The piece on the news mixed up the two shelters in that they showed the Fayetteville shelter while talking about the Bella Vista shelter. The Fayetteville shelter has cages and the Bella Vista Animal Shelter has large rooms where the cats run free. That way a person can interact with all the cats to see which one to adopt. Either way, if you want a cat or kitten, take advantage of the free days!
