The Bella Vista Animal Shelter is hosting a free adoption event due to the influx of cats and kittens brought to the shelter.
The free event lasts July 9- 23.
All adopters must first fill out an adoption application and get approved. This can be done here at the shelter or online at www.bellavista-animalshelter.org.

The Fayetteville Animal Shelter also offering free adoptions of any cat or kitten. There was a limit of two cats per adopter.
"Well, the reason we are doing this, is because during the entire month of June we took in around 110 cats," said Tony Rankin, Program Manager at Fayetteville Animal Services. "So, we were pretty well overburden. Our shelter was just really overcrowded."
The event ended Saturday, July 12.
