The incident happened at 12:45 p.m. at the X-Mart store located at 3800 Century Dr., the release states.

The victim, shopping with her friend, came outside and found her passenger-side window shattered, according to the release.

A purse and Garmin GPS unit were reported stolen from inside the locked vehicle, the release states.
