NATURAL DAM (KFSM) – A boil order is now in effect for people who live and work in Natural Dam, according to Cedarville Water Department Superintendent Fred Snipes.
The boil order affects people whose homes and businesses are on Peaceful Home Road and in surrounding areas in that community.
Authorities said 20-feet of the water line broke earlier Tuesday morning (July 22).
Crews are out now, working to repair the line. Once the necessary repairs are made, officials said they’ll send samples of the water to the Arkansas Health Department to make sure it is safe to drink and use.
The precautionary boil order is in effect until further notice.
