ROGERS (KFSM) – A Rogers Walmart was robbed twice in the same day on July 20, police say.

The Walmart is at 4208 S. Pleasant Crossing Blvd, and in one case, approximately $500 worth of merchandise was shoplifted, according to a post on the Rogers Police Department Facebook page.

At 7 a.m., the suspect pictured at right selected a 47-inch LG LCD HDTV from the electronics department and then took the item to the front of the store. While en route to the cashier, he removed the security device. After delaying a few minutes, he took the television and walked out the front door, failing to pay for the merchandise, the post stats.

A little more than 12 hours later, at 8:25 p.m., another man, pictured below, shoplifted approximately $80.65 worth of merchandise, according to a separate Facebook post.

The suspect was at a self-check-out register and placed his items into shopping bags. He then called over an associate, disputing the price of an item. After the associate altered the price, the suspect put the item into a shopping bag and then walked off with everything, failing to pay for the merchandise, the post states.

If anyone can identify either suspect, they are encouraged to call the Rogers Police Department at 479-636-4141 or the Crimestoppers Tip Line at 790-TIPS.
