SEBASTIAN COUNTY (KFSM) – The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office is looking for potential suspects in a theft case where a 1,000-gallon fuel tank was stolen from a Mansfield property, authorities say.

The report was filed on July 30, and the victim told police a 1,000-gallon fuel tank, a 300-gallon water tank and large tires were all taken from his property, according to authorities.

On the same day at approximately 3:30 p.m., a late 90s white truck, possibly a Chevy, was caught on surveillance video at the Mansfield Shell Station with the stolen property on a trailer behind it. A green Chevy extended cab truck is also seen in the surveillance footage in relation to the white truck. Authorities are looking into the possibility of multiple suspects being involved in the theft case.

The identities of the truck drivers are not known to authorities. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office at 479-783-1051 or the River Valley Crimestoppers tip line at 78-CRIME.
