BENTONVILLE (KFSM) - Walmart is offering from 30 to 60 percent off on back to school items, according to Randy Hargrove, company spokesperson.

It's part of Back to School Cyber Monday, which follows the state-wide tax free weekend.

"More and more people are using the internet for shopping or for browsing," Hargrove said. "That's part of our strategy of giving our customers the products and services they want, however they want to get it, whether it's in store or it's online."

"It's a big part of our business that's growing too," he said.

There are savings on more than 400 items including everything from dorm decor, smart phones, tablets, laptops, kid's clothing and backpacks.

Hargrove said Walmart's Back to School Cyber Monday last year was the second busiest day of the year behind the holiday season.

"Another program is our 'Classrooms on Walmart' and you can go online, plug in your school name and pull up the list what you are going to need right there online, buy it there online, have it shipped to a store or directly to your home," Hargrove said.
