FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Fayetteville construction crews will spend the next two weeks replacing deteriorating sidewalks along University Avenue near Dickson Street, according to a statement released by the city.
Work began Monday on the sidewalk along University Avenue, from Dickson Street to Whiteside Street. The impacted area is about 400 feet long, according to the city.
University Avenue will be closed to traffic between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday during the two-week construction period. Traffic will be allowed through during non-work hours, city officials said.
