Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Arkansas And Oklahoma Counties

SEBASTIAN COUNTY (KFSM) – Severe weather is moving through Arkansas and Oklahoma today, leading to multiple warnings being declared.

In Arkansas, a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Scott County until 5:00 p.m.

The Oklahoma Gas and Electric has reported up to 2,112 outages in Fort Smith and 79 in Van Buren.

The Arkansas Valley Electric Coop has reported around 730 outages in Van Buren.

In Oklahoma, a severe thunderstorm warning has been set for LeFlore County until 5:15 p.m.

Police in Moffett have reported that trees are down and pieces of roofs have been blown off in town.
