Three Arrested In Benton County Meth Bust, Drugs Seized Worth $80,000

BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – Three people were arrested in Benton county over the weekend (Aug. 16 and 17) in a methamphetamine bust, authorities say.

The undercover drug operation led to investigators seizing over 800 grams of meth valued at approximately $80,000. Authorities also seized $3,500 in cash during the investigation, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were assisted in the investigation by Arkansas State Police, the Springdale Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration, deputies said.

The three arrested were Romil Delossantos-Hernandez, 21, Carlos Zamudio-Silva, 23 and Bryan Ochoa, 19, all of Decatur, according to authorities.

All three were booked into the Benton County Detention Center on a $35,000 bond. They each face a charge of delivery of a controlled substance (felony), and they are scheduled to be arraigned in Division Two Benton County Circuit Court on Sept. 22, deputies said.
