PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS (KFSM) – Former Razorback Running Back Cedric Cobbs is behind bars Monday morning (Aug. 25) in Pulaski County.

Cobbs, 33, was arrested on Saturday (Aug. 23) for not paying his child support, according to his police intake report. It shows he owes more than $10,000 but not more than $25,000 in child support, according to the report.

Cobbs was previously arrested and charged in 2013 with conspiracy to obtain drugs by fraud, and for fleeing and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

Cobbs played at Arkansas from 1999-2003. He went on to play for the NFL with both the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos.

“It shows he owes more than $10,000 but not less than $25,000 in child support”

If it’s “not less than $25,000”, would that not be over $25,000?

Shouldn’t it be “but less than $25,000?” Come on 5News…I would expect some competence even from a bunch of liberal sheep.

Well at least he is not on his 3rd DWI after already murdering someone. Granted he needs to Pay his responsibilities but he can’t make money for child support in jail. Maybe these ‘baby Mommas’ need to be more selective in Breeding.

Agreed about the mothers needing to be more selective but why are you so eager to excuse this deadbeat? As far as paying for what he has bred, he hasn’t been in jail all this time so what sense does your thinking make about being in jail and not paying up. Let’s not forget that this all goes well beyond his not paying up for his brood. What about failing to participate as a family father figure? Who is supposed to take care of his forgotten and neglected kid/kids? Society?
