Winslow Woman Jailed In Burglary Arrest

WINSLOW (KFSM) – A Winslow woman remains behind bars Saturday (Sept. 6) after authorities say she burglarized a home.

Police said they were dispatched to a burglary in progress on U.S. 71, where it was believed India Davis broke in through a window at the home. The homeowner said she saw Davis leave in a Dodge truck and preceeded to follow her while calling police, authorities said.

Authorities took Davis into custody on Sept. 4) and booked her into the detention center on Sept. 5, according to Washington County Cpl. Mandy Ruth. Davis’ bond was set at $2,500.

Davis is set to appear before a Washington County judge on Oct. 6, according to Ruth.
