FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - Bill Nye "The Science Guy" will make his way to Barnhill Arena tonight (Sept. 19), and university officials are preparing.
Nye is speaking as part of the Student Distinguished Lecture series. Alex Chaffin, Chairman of the Distinguished Lectures Committee, says the university is expecting a big turnout.
"We want people to really come and enjoy the event, maybe it might hit home with them, " said Chaffin, "It`s something they remember growing up so we think that`s important. We think people would really enjoy it and we`re excited about it."
The doors to Barnhill Arena open at 6:00 p.m., Bill Nye will take the stage at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
