FAYETTEVILLE [KFSM] – Saturday night, the last night for Bikes, Blues and BBQ, four couples tied the knot on the main stage in the beer gardens on Dickson Street.

Director Joe Giles said every year at least five or six couples get married. He said in-between bands bikers get up on stage and recite their vows in front of hundreds of people.

A couple from the Little Rock area got married Saturday evening, with Giles as the officiate.

Michelle and Mike Davis said “I Do” with their six children present, ages 11 to 23. Michelle’s parents were also there for the ceremony, as were plenty of Bikes, Blues and BBQ attendees.

Michelle said she told her now husband Mike that she wanted a small intimate ceremony, but said he didn’t get the message.

“I suggested maybe a chapel on the way up here because we were coming up here already, and all he heard was bikes blues and barbecue and called the promoter and set it up for us,” Michelle said.

Mike said the couple comes to the rally every year, and said now they will plan to come back annually to celebrate their anniversary.
