GREENWOOD (KFSM) – The East Hills Middle School in Greenwood was evacuated due to a bomb threat at 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 30), according to a post on the Greenwood School District’s Facebook page.

Students were taken to a safe location, and all car riders and walkers were dismissed. Bus drivers ran their normal schedule and took kids home, the post states.

Backpacks were ordered to be left at the school overnight, and students were told they could pick them up on Wednesday (Sept. 30) morning, according to the post.

I actually go to this school and someone had written a threat on the wall. We were taken to the other school next to us and they let everyone safely home. They made us keep put backpacks there, though.
