The scene where police say the victim jumped out of the car

ROGERS (KFSM) – A stabbing at a Rogers gas station sent an underwear-clad man to the hospital Friday night, according to the responding emergency crews.

Rogers Police identify the victim as a 22-year-old man. Police say the incident happened in an address in Benton County and thus have transferred the investigation to the sheriff’s office.

Medical crews responded shortly after 8 p.m. to the Jiffy Kwik in Rogers on South Arkansas Street in reference to a stabbing. Eyewitnesses said a man was stabbed somewhere else, then came to the gas station in only underwear and socks.

The man was later hospitalized at Mercy Medical Center with serious injuries, emergency crews said.

Rogers police are investigating the stabbing and taped off the site for a two-hour span. Police have not yet released whether anyone has been arrested in connection with the incident.

How often is that Police SUV deployed? I’ve seen them just driving around Rogers. There’s your tax dollars…

They are switching their fleet mostly to these. They don’t make the Crown Vics anymore. I think they have a few Dodge Chargers as well.

The SUV pictured gets better gas mileage that the Crown Victoria or the Charger that were the usual cruisers. Also, have you ever tried to get a 6′ 2″, 225 pound person in the back seat of a standard car? Next time you need the police, tell them to send someone in a Yugo, if you are so concerned. By the way, what do you drive?
