Five Teens Charged In Ice Bucket Challenge Attack On Teen With Autism

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Five Cleveland teens were charged in the Ice Bucket Challenge attack on a 15-year-old with autism, according to WJW.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy J. McGinty announced on Tuesday (Oct. 14) that thanks to evidence gathered during an investigation by the Bay Village Police Department,  three of the five teens were charged with two counts of delinquency, disorderly conduct and assault. The other two teens were charged with a single count of disorderly conduct, WJW reported.

The suspects, who range in age from 14 to 16, are accused of dumping a bucket of tobacco spit and human waste on the teen’s head on Aug. 18. It was captured on video and went viral, according to WJW.
