Actor LeVar Burton Comes to Fayetteville for Library Event

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Literacy advocate and actor, LeVar Burton, will be at the Fayetteville Public Library tonight for its 10th anniversary celebration.

Burton has appeared on several television series, including ROOTS and Star Trek: The Next Generation. However, Burton is best known as the host and producer of the long-running PBS children’s series Reading Rainbow.

Tonight, Burton will discuss children’s literacy and education.

The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the event is free to the public. Organizers say seating is limited.
