One person was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash that temporarily blocked traffic along U.S. 71B in Rogers.

Three Rogers fire trucks and an ambulance responded just after 3 p.m. to North Eighth Street and West Easy Street in reference to a crash needing possible extrication from one of the vehicles.

Crews used equipment to pop the door off of the passenger car that lay in the middle of the street. They pulled the driver from the vehicle, and that person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Rogers Fire Department.

No one was hurt in the other passenger car involved in the crash, according to the fire department.

Traffic along the area later resumed, and the wreckage was cleared by 4 p.m.
