FAYETTEVILLE [KFSM] - Saturday (Oct. 25) was the homecoming game for the Razorbacks, but the festivities started Friday night (Oct. 24) with the homecoming parade ending on Dickson Street.

"I did see the parade last night, so that was pretty cool, it's cool to see all the festivities, see everyone out on Dickson coming into town and really getting into it," Jarid  Kinder said.

The 2014 Homecoming court was announced at halftime with the help from the U of A marching band. Senior Kali Lantefield was named queen. While the stands were full for the Razorbacks victory over the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazers, the tailgating areas before the game were nearly empty.

"Well eleven o' clock games are not exactly the best, but we are out here getting a couple drinks in before the game, we are going to head in and hopefully get that 4th win of the season," Kinder said.

The Hogs defeated the Blazers 45-17. Razorbacks fan Dale Jones said he hopes winning Saturday will create momentum so the team finishes the season strong.

"I hope it fuels the fire, and we get to go the bowl game," Jones said.

Other homecoming activities this week included the flag football tournament the Pigskin classic, and a Senior Walk dedication.
