Arkansas junior offensive guard Sebastian Tretola was named the Southeastern Conference offensive lineman of the week after throwing a touchdown pass in the 45-17 win over UAB.

Tretola motioned into the  shotgun formation on a fake field goal, throwing a pass to senior long snapper Alan D’Appollonio for a six-yard touchdown.

His efforts were highlighted by three knockdowns and an offensive production of 273 rushing yards, the fifth time this season that Arkansas has topped 200 yards rushing. Tretola also blocked for an Arkansas offense that scored on its first six possessions of the game, jumping out to a 38-0 lead over UAB.

The accolade is Tretola’s first weekly SEC honor and first award since joining Arkansas as a junior college transfer this fall. He joins fellow Razorback teammates running back Alex Collins (Sept. 13) and defensive end Trey Flowers (Sept. 20) as Arkansas’ SEC football players of the week for the 2014 season.

The Razorbacks will next travel to Starkville, Mississippi to take on the No. 1 Mississippi State Bulldogs. Kickoff is slated for 6:15 p.m.
