Halloween is on Friday (Oct. 31), so here is a list of some of the Halloween events in our area:

Fayetteville
Mall-O-Ween at Northwest Arkansas Mall
The Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville is hosting their annual Mall-O-Ween for kids under the age of 12.
The event goes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and includes a costume contest. Marketing director Rhonda Bramell said the majority of stores in the mall will be passing out candy to trick-or-treaters.
"We are happy to provide an alternative for the community, it's free, it's indoors, so the weather doesn't matter if it's cold or if it's rainy and it's safe, you know you are in a safe environment with your children," Bramell said.
Trick-Or-Treat on the Square
The Fayetteville Visitors Bureau will be hosting the 13th Annual Trick-or-Treat on the Square, which will feature carnival games, face painting and candy for all participating children.
There will also be a pet costume contest and Terra Studios will host a Troll Photo Booth.
Halloween Monster Dash
The Halloween Monster Dash will take place after Trick-or-Treat on the Square. The 5K Run starts at 5:30 p.m., the Fun Run/Walk starts at 6 p.m., and the Costume Contest starts at 6:30 p.m. For registration prices and times click here.
The streets on the Downtown Square will be blocked to traffic.
Haunted Science Lab
The Society of Physics Students at the University of Arkansas will host the Haunted Science Lab on Saturday (Nov. 1) from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event will feature family-friendly physics and chemistry demonstrations, door prizes and flash-frozen vanilla ice cream using liquid nitrogen. It takes place at the U of A Physics Building at 825 W. Dickson St.
Springdale
Trunk-or-Treat
To make sure kids stay safe when knocking on strangers' doors, families can stop by the Springdale Police Department to get candy, stickers, pencils and glow-in-the-dark goodies. Officers are hosting a a trunk-or-treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
"We can make sure that parents feel a little more safe about the candy that they are going to get here, and we get a chance to talk to the kids and the parents about some safety tips when they go out in the neighborhoods,” Lt. Derek Hudson said.
The police department will also have trunk-or-treating set up at Brookhaven Apartments off Powell St., and Turnbow Elementary.
Rogers
Goblin Parade
Parents can pick up their kids from school and head straight to Downtown Rogers for the annual Goblin Parade from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Director Dana Mather said more than 50 businesses will have their doors open so children can stop by and grab a piece of candy. The event is free for kids under the age of 13.
"We want to be a place for a community event and have people build great memories of their childhood in downtown Rogers, and also it offers safety and a measure of security for families to come out during the daytime," Mather said.
Nightmare on Elm Street Zombie 5K & Fun Run
The Nightmare on Elm Street Zombie 5K & Fun Run will be held in Downtown Rogers starting at 4:00 p.m. The runners will have to run for their lives as they dodge zombies the whole way. There will be prizes for those who cross the finish line untouched by a zombie.

Trick-Or-Treat at the Mall
Children will be able to trick-or-treat from store to store at Pinnacle Hills Promenade from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event also includes face painting and balloon artists.
Bentonville
Trick-or-Treat Parade
The Trick-or-Treat Parade will be held at the farmers market. It will start at 10:30 a.m. by the red Downtown Bentonville, Inc. tent on the southwest corner of the square. Friday (Oct. 31) will be the last farmers market of the season for Bentonville.
Stories in Stone
This event will be held on Thursday (Oct. 30) at 5 p.m. The tour of the Bentonville City Cemetery is sponsored by the Benton County Historical Society. Hot cider and beignets will be served at the end of the tour. The tour costs $15 per person.
Bella Vista
Trunk-or-Treat at Bella Vista Lutheran Church
The Bella Vista Lutheran Church is holding a trunk-or-treat event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The church is located on Forest Hills Boulevard.
Trunk-or-Treat at Bella Vista Baptist Church
The Bella Vista Baptist Church is hosting trunk-or-treat event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Garfield
Fall Festival
The Fall Festival will be held at the FBC Garfield Family Life Center on Marshall Street. The event will go from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and includes food, games, a barrel train and candy.
Seligman Spook Trail
The Seligman Spook Trail will be open Friday (Oct. 31) and Saturday (Nov. 1) from 8 p.m. until midnight. The admission fee is $5 a person. The Spook Trail is located on Hwy. 62 between Garfield and Gateway.
Prairie Grove
Trunk-or-Treat
The police and fire departments will be hosting a trunk-or-treat in front of the police offices on E. Douglas St. The event begins at 4:30 p.m. and will last as long as there are treats available or until 7:00 p.m.
Siloam Springs
Trick-or-Treat Festival
The festival will be held downtown from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Downtown businesses will give candy to kids ages 12 and under. There will be carnival games, a petting zoo, face-painting and a costume contest.
Trunk-or-Treat
The New Life Church will be hosting trunk-or-treat from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Eureka Springs
Zombie Crawl & Day of the Dead Parade
The crawl and parade will be held on Saturday (Nov. 1). The event is free and locals and visitors are invited to dress up and join the festivities. Zombies and parade participants are asked to bring two or more cans of food to benefit the Flint Street Food Bank. Participants will meet at the Carnegie Public Library on Spring Street by 5:30 p.m. The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. and wrap up at Basin Spring Park.
Fort Smith
Trick-or-Treat at the Mall
The Central Mall will host trick-or-treating for children three to 12 at participating retailers from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event starts at Center Court.
Murder and Mayhem Haunted Trolley Tours
The Murder and Mayhem Haunted Trolley Tours will be available at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. They will begin at the Fort Smith Museum of History with complimentary food, drinks and ghost stories. The trolley bus tour will go through downtown Fort Smith and the Belle Grove Historic District.
Tickets cost $35 per person for those 21 and over. All proceeds benefit the Fort Smith Museum of History. For reservations call: 479-783-7841.
Thriller Performances
The Western Arkansas Ballet will perform Michael Jackson's "Thriller" at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. on the street in front of the Fort Smith Museum of History.
The Ward Haunted Warehouse
The Ward is a haunted warehouse on Ellis Rd. at Fort Chaffee. It will be open from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. Tickets cost $10 with all proceeds benefiting local charities and organizations.
Trunk-or-Treat At Bethel Lutheran Church
The Bethel Lutheran Church will be hosting trunk-or-treat on Euper Lane from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The festivities will include a bouncy house, lots of popcorn and a drawing for a $50 gift card to Toys R Us.
Fall Festival at Grand Avenue Baptist Church
Grand Avenue Baptist Church will host their Fall Festival from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be inflatables, food, games and a costume contest. The theme for this year's festival is 70's Disco.
Van Buren
Momentum Church Trunk-or-Treat
Momentum Church will be hosting a trunk-or-treat event from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Van Buren High School parking lot.
Jubilee Christian Center Fall Festival
The Jubilee Christian Center is holding their Fall Festival on Sunday, Nov. 2 starting at 3:30 p.m. There will be bounce arounds, games, food and candy. The festival is free and open to the public.
Greenwood
Trunk-or-Treat
First Free Will Baptist Church will be hosting trunk-or-treat from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Sallisaw
Halloween on Elm Street
The city will be holding Halloween celebrations and trick-or-treating for children in costumes in Downtown Sallisaw.
Poteau
Haunted Courthouse
The LeFlore County Haunted Courthouse will be open Friday (Oct. 31) and Saturday (Nov. 1) from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children. All proceeds will benefit LeFlore County Youth Services.
Muldrow
Trunk-or-Treat
There will be a trunk-or-treat event at First Church of the Nazarene from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
