Hobbs State Park Trails Closed Nov. 8 And 9 For Deer Hunting Season

ROGERS (KFSM)- Several trails at Hobbs State Park near Rogers will be closed during parts of November and December for the upcoming muzzleloader, modern gun and youth gun deer seasons, according to a release from park officials.

The trails that will be closed include:

  • Shaddox Hollow Trail
  • Pigeon Roost Trail
  • Sinking Stream Trail
  • Bashore Loop
  • Dutton Hollow Loop
  • Little Clifty Loop
  • War Eagle Loop

In addition to closing the trails, park officials will also be closing the Hobbs State Park shooting range and primitive campgrounds. The campgrounds will be closed the day before, as well as each day of the three gun seasons.

Gun season dates:

  • Youth Hunt: Nov. 8 and 9
  • Muzzleloader: Nov. 15-19
  • Modern Gun: Dec. 6-10
