FORT SMITH (KFSM)- The U.S. Marshals Service and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office have found a four-year-old boy who had been abducted by his great-grandmother, according to a release from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Marilyn Hollan was arrested in Kingsland, Ga. Friday afternoon (Oct. 31) for disappeared with her great-grandchild after a Benton County judge gave full custody of the boy to his biological father, the released stated.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office asked the U.S. Marshals Service to help with the fugitive investigation in late October. According to the release, the U.S. Marshals Service began tracking Hollan across the country, leading investigators through North Carolina, Florida and eventually Georgia, where she was arrested.
