Boots And Badges Raises Money For Special Olympics

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Local law enforcement and firefighters came together Saturday to support Special Olympics Arkansas.

Boots & Badges For Special Olympics was on Saturday (Nov. 1) from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter locations on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Fayetteville and Walton Avenue in Bentonville.

Officers and firefighters held boots and buckets collecting donations for the athletes of Special Olympics Arkansas.

Special Olympics Arkansas supports 14,000 athletes across the state that compete and train year-round in 20 different Olympic-type sports, according to its website.
