LITTLE ROCK (KFSM)- Republican Asa Hutchinson and Democrat Mike Ross were last minute campaigning on Election Day.

Ross made several stops with his group of supporters. He was waving at drivers and meeting voters.

"I'm very confident," Ross said. "We've visited 17 towns in the last 55 hours."

"The feedback has been wonderful," he said.

Hutchinson was in Little Rock in the morning and then took a flight to Northwest Arkansas. He stopped at Neal's Cafe to meet with voters.

"It’s been a really long campaign, over sixteen months we’ve been campaigning across Arkansas," Hutchinson said.

Both candidates aren't stopping until the polls close at 7:30 p.m.

The Governor-elect will take office Jan. 2015.

If the new governor of Arkansas wants to crack down on corruption they should be able to make a nice and easy case against Sebastian County Judge Jim Spears and his lying “moral watchdog” Michael Hamby of Greenwood.
