RUSSELLVILLE (KFSM) – An arrest warrant has been issued for a Pope County man accused of watching women in tanning booths, police say.

On Oct. 25 at 3:07 p.m., an officer responded to a call concerning voyeurism. The victim told authorities she was at Planet Fitness at 405 N. Arkansas Ave. when the incident occurred, according to an incident report.

The victim was interviewed at the Russellville Police Department and told officers that while she was at Planet Fitness she went into a room containing a tanning bed. The bed was closed, so, she went back outside and spoke with the suspect, Kelley Hill, 40, of Dover. He went back into the room with her, opened the tanning bed and asked if she knew how to use it, the report states.

He left, and she took off her robe. She happened to look up toward the ceiling, and she noticed Hill looking over the wall at her. He then leaned out of her view, according to the report.

She reported him to management and got his name, the report states.

Police later went to the business and spoke with a manager. She told police Hill had been placed on leave until the situation was straightened out. Authorities reviewed surveillance video that showed Hill leading at least two women into separate tanning rooms. He then went and got a ladder to stand on, look over the wall, and watch the women, according to the report.

On Monday (Nov. 10), an arrest warrant was issued for Hill on suspicion of harassment and voyeurism, police said.

As of Nov. 10 at 3:30 p.m., Hill has not been arrested, according to police.

Prison records state Hill was paroled out of the Arkansas Department of Correction on May 13.
