FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- A car drove through the front of the Red Skye Wireless building in Fayetteville on Thursday (Nov. 13) just before 2 p.m., according to police.

The business is located on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard across from Fayetteville High School.

According to police, the driver, who was a woman in her 70s, drove through the glass facade of the business, shattering it. No one inside the store was hurt, but the woman was taken away in an ambulance.

Danny Clinton, who works at the Subway Restaurant next door to Red Skye Wireless, said he saw the accident happen.

"I watch out the window anyway and I see her head kind of bobbing," Clinton said. "She turned, so I thought she was parking and then I heard a screech. I heard the tires squeal and she ran through the window."

According to the Fayetteville Fire Department, the driver had a medical emergency, which caused her to crash into the building.
