FORT SMITH (KFSM) – Mercy Hospital is offering free flu shots in Fort Smith Thursday morning, as part of their drive-thru flu shot clinic.
It’s all taking place at the intersection of 74th and Rogers in the parking lot across from the Red Lobster.
Nurses will be ready to give the shots as drivers pull up. All drivers will have to do is roll down their window, sign the consent form, get shot and be on their way.
“They don’t need anything,” explained Nurse Samantha Cole. “We just have a few questions we’ll ask, like if they’re allergic to eggs or if they’ve ever had a reaction to the flu shot or anything like that, and that’s all we need.”
Nurses are giving out the shots from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Mercy Hospital said they’ll have another drive-thru flu shot clinic in January or February.
