ROGERS (KFSM) – The court date is getting close for an accused Rogers rapist, according to jail records.

Bobby E. Wallace, 42, of Rogers was booked into the Benton County Detention Center on Nov. 4 at 3:19 p.m. on suspicion of rape and second-degree sexual assault, jail records state.

His next court date is scheduled for Dec. 15, according to jail records.

The Rogers Police Department was called out to a residence in the 8000 block of West Burton Lane on July 3 at 4:20 p.m. for a possible sexual assault case, according to court documents.

Police were told that Wallace had been having sex with a 15-year-old girl from the time she was nine until she was 13, court documents state. The 15-year-old girl’s family noticed “definite behavior issues” with her, saying, she does not like speaking with or being around men, according to court documents.

Authorities also learned that Wallace had touched another young girl inappropriately, court documents state.

The 15-year-old victim was interviewed by police, and she confirmed Wallace had raped her, according to court documents.

During the interview with Wallace, police told him about the allegations of rape, and he denied it all multiple times, even saying he’d pass a polygraph test, court documents state.

After more interviews were completed with others involved in the case, an arrest warrant was issued for Wallace on suspicion of rape and second-degree sexual assault, according to court documents. The warrant was later executed, and he was taken into custody, court documents state.

Wallace is being held on a $50,000 bond, according to the jail’s intake report.
