Springdale Police Investigate Early Morning Robbery

Springdale Robbery

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) – Three people are behind bars Sunday (Dec. 7th) morning after police responded to an aggravated robbery call, according to a news release by the Springdale Police Department.

The release states police got a call at 2:20 a.m. to a home on 1251 Apache Trail when the victim, a woman, was involved in an altercation with someone she knew. The suspect first picked the victim up at her house and that’s when two men then showed up in a separate car. One of the suspects flashed a gun at her and stole her purse, according to the release.

Police tell 5NEWS in an email the names of the three people arrested will be released pending an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division.

No one was injured in the incident.

    It’s the time of year that desperate people do desperate things. In most home based, or even people to people based, aggravated robberies in this area involve drugs. The average Springdale resident need not worry about home invasion. Be prepared but don’t worry.
