Police: Brass Sign Stolen From Waldron Theatre

WALDRON (KFSM) – The Waldron Police Department is looking for the people responsible for stealing a brass sign from a local theatre, according to a post on the city of Waldron’s Facebook account.

The sign was stolen from the Scott Theatre and reads “K. Lee Williams,” the post states.

It weighs approximately 200 pounds, according to the post. The theatre is at 281 S. Main St.

If anyone has information about the stolen sign, they are encouraged to call the Waldron Police Department at 479-637-9106 or the River Valley Crimestoppers Tip Line at 78-CRIME.

    and the local scrap yards will never question why someone would be bringing that in. They are as crooked as the low life scum theives that bring their stolen items in to sell.

    They ought to get a job instead of stealing. That old theater is a landmark. Long ago, I sat in there holding hands and sharing popcorn with a cute girl or two.

    I remember watching movies there, I would buy a bag of those warm shoe-string potatoes, man they sure tasted good. Them were the good old days, poor and didn’t even know it!
