VAN BUREN (KFSM) – The Van Buren Police Department is looking for a suspect they believe was involved in a high-speed chase from earlier this month, according to a news release.

Bryan W. Tyler, 29, is wanted in reference to multiple outstanding warrants, including failure to appear and petition to revoke, police said. A petition to revoke warrant is often issued if a suspect breaks stipulations of a parole or a suspended sentence.

The high-speed chase police say he was involved in took place in Van Buren on Dec. 6, according to the news release from police. The suspect in that chase was pulled over for a routine traffic stop, before speeding away. Officers took chase, but later discontinued the pursuit, police said.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Tyler, they are encouraged to call the Van Buren Police Department at 479-474-1234 or the River Valley Crimestoppers Tip Line at 78-CRIME.
