ARKANSAS (KFSM) – Gas prices have dropped below $2 per gallon in both Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley as of Wednesday morning (Dec. 17).
It’s the first time in five years that gas prices have dropped that low in the Natural State.
Here’s a look at the cheapest gas prices on both sides of the hill, according to GasBuddy.com:
Northwest Arkansas
$1.97 – Casey’s on E. Henri De Tonti Boulevard and N. Maestri Road in Tontitown
$1.97 – Walmart on N. 48th near Elm Springs Road in Springdale
$1.97 – Pilot at W. Sunset Avenue and 56th Street in Springdale
$1.97 – Murphy Express at W. Sunset Avenue and Jones Road in Springdale
$1.97 – Shell at S. Thompson Street and W. Robinson Avenue in Springdale
$1.98 – Kum & Go at Elm Springs Road and N. 45th Street in Springdale
$1.98 – Harps at Jones Road and W. Sunset Avenue in Springdale
$1.99 – Shell at N. 48th Street and Elm Springs Road in Springdale
$1.99 – VP Racing Fuels at Elm Springs Road and Elmwood Street in Springdale
River Valley
$1.99 – Conoco on U.S. 271 S and School Street in Fort Smith
$2.05 – E-Z Mart on U.S. 271 S and Havard Drive in Fort Smith
