Fire Crews Put Out House Fire In Rogers

ROGERS (KFSM) - A home in Rogers sustained major damage during a fire on Sunday (Jan. 4).

The Rogers Fire Department was called to a home on West Marquette Road around 2:15 p.m.

The homeowner called 911 when he saw smoke inside his residence, according to Deputy Fire Chief William Hyde. The man was not injured in the fire.

Hyde said the fire started at the center of the home above a bathroom and spread to the attic. He said the home is not livable.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
