ROGERS (KFSM) - With temperatures expected to plunge into the single digits this week, it's time to bring out the winter jackets and gloves or shop for new ones.

Cabela's in Rogers offers a wide range of apparel and products to keep warm. Some of the hot items include heated insoles, hand warmers and battery powered gloves and jackets.

Clayton Dowdy said it's all about staying warm and stylish this winter.

"As long as you have a bunch of batteries, I guess you will be a lot warmer than you used to be," he said.

If you're looking for a way to keep your hands warm in the bitter cold, try the Heated Performance Handwarmer. The heat lasts up to eight hours and reaches up to 135 degrees.

"It does have a strap, so that if you don't need it necessarily you can go ahead and take it off and then put it back on," said Marcelo Delgado, camo clothing lead at Cabela's.

ThermaCELL Heated Insoles can be slipped into any pair of boots or shoes. They are remote-controlled and regulate heat output by body heat and outdoor temperatures.

"You have three settings to choose from, medium (100 degrees), high (110 degrees) and no heat," said Nicole Springer, casual clothing lead at Cabela's.

When the temperatures drop, you can adjust the temperature inside your boots with the Heated Performance Socks. The socks are powered by a rechargeable 7.4-volt battery.

"They are going to be rated from 135 degrees to 90 degrees with four settings," Delgado said.

Cabela's also has items to keep pets warm like fleece jackets and thermo mats.
