FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – The American Heart Association is hosting “Paint the Town Red” on Saturday (Jan. 24th). It starts at 7p.m. and among the other events happening around Fayetteville, people will get the chance to sample foods from 12 local restaurants, according to a news release.

The release states tonight’s event will bring fun and passion to the community as a way to benefit the American Heart Association’s mission, which is encouraging people to live healthier lives. The participating restaurants are: Flying Burrito, JJ’s Grill, Taziki’s, Hog Haus Brewing Company Restaurant and Bar, Houlihan’s, IDK? Cafe, Marley’s Pizzaria, Mimi’s Cafe, Noodles, Mojos, Rick’s Bakery, Farrell’s, and The Hive.

“Paint the Town Red” raises money to help in the fight against heart disease and stroke. Some of the activities also taking place on Saturday are a silent auction,  a wine pull, and music by Almost Famous.

Tickets to attend cost $75, and you can click here to purchase them. You must be 21-years-old.
