CARROLL COUNTY (KFSM) – One man is dead after a collision in Carroll County on Monday (Jan. 26), according to a crash report from Arkansas State Police.

Victor E. Williams II, 23, of Little Rock was killed while driving on U.S. 412 west of Osage, police said.

According to authorities, the collision took place at 9:20 p.m. Williams was driving a 2007 Toyota Corolla east, and the other person involved in the accident, Stephen J. Turner, 35, of Fayetteville, was driving a 2012 Ford F-150 west, the report states.

Police said Williams failed to negotiate a curve to the right, crossed the center line and hit the front end of Turner’s pickup truck with his car.

The weather was clear at the time of the crash, and the road was dry, according to the report.

Turner was not injured in the crash, authorities said.
