‘Good Samaritan’ Shot And Robbed While Trying To Help Family In Car

VIRGINIA (WTVR) – A man was shot and robbed when he stopped to help a family he believed was having car trouble in Virginia, according to Louisa Sheriff’s Office Major Don Lowe.The Good Samaritan’s condition was not released afterwards.

The Good Samaritan stopped to check on a man, woman and infant he saw in a car along the side of the road, Lowe said. That’s when the man robbed the Good Samaritan. A fight broke out between the suspect and Good Samaritan, and the Good Samaritan was shot twice.

The Good Samaritan told investigators he thought he broke the gunman’s arm during the fight.
