Police Chase Man Suspected of Stealing Gas

GORE (KFSM)- A Sequoyah County man was arrested after he stole gas and led police on a chase, according to the Gore Police Department.

Authorities said on Sunday morning (Feb. 15) a man stole gas from Dave’s Bait & Tackle in Gore, Okla.

According to the department the suspect led them on a chase on Highway 100.

Police said he crashed his car into a ditch near the Sequoyah-Muskogee County line.

Authorities said no injuries were reported and the chase lasted about 15 minutes.

The department was unable to release the suspect’s name.

      Likely was running for a lot more than a tank of gas. Say the police come across a vehicle with a headlight out… When they try to stop the car, it takes off. Unbeknownst to them, the man has just kidnapped a small child and she’s in the car. By not chasing, they’re sealing her fate.

      Blame the one who runs, not the ones who chase him.
