PARIS (KFSM) - When Paris and Lamar met for the 3A-4 conference championship Friday, fireworks were expected. The two teams did not disappoint.

Both teams had a chance to steal the win as Paris missed a 3-pointer at the regulation buzzer then Lamar was off the mark at the horn in overtime. In the end it was the Eagles who came away with a 76-72 double overtime win to pick up a No. 1 seed in this week's regional tournament.

On the girls side things weren't quite as dramatic as top seeded Lamar routed Danville, 68-35, to pick up the region's top seed as well.

The 3A regional will be in Danville later this week.
