Former Arkansas running back Darren McFadden is heading to the Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple reports.

McFadden, who was chosen No. 4 overall in the 2008 draft, spent all seven seasons in the league with the Raiders, but has struggled with injuries throughout his career. Last year was the first time he played in all 16 games.

The front office didn’t waste much time addressing the running back situation after DeMarco Murray signed with the Eagles on Wednesday. Murray helped the Cowboys win the NFC East title last season while rushing for a franchise-record 1,845 yards.

McFadden’s deal is reported to be for two years.

I loathe the Cowboys, but this will be a much better situation for D-Mac than the hapless Raiders.
