Several Fort Smith Businesses Report Windows Shot Out With BB Gun

FORT SMITH (KFSM) – Several businesses in Fort Smith reported windows being shot out with a BB gun over a period of two days, police say.

The suspect(s) focussed along Towson Avenue from the 300 block through the 1200 block from late Wednesday night (March 11) into early Thursday morning (March 12), according to a news release.

Late Thursday night into early Friday morning (March 13), the suspect(s) focussed on businesses in the 1200 block of Waldron Street and the 5000 block of Rogers Avenue, police said.

Authorities said they obtained security footage from Plato’s Closet, The Malco Theatre and Arvest Bank.

The suspect(s) appears to be in a 2008 silver Hyundai Santa Fe with an unknown tag, according to police. The luggage rack on top appears to be black, and the wheels seem to be chrome, police said.
