Arkansas is headed to Jacksonville as they were selected as the No. 5 seed in the West Region and will face the No. 12 seed Wofford.

Arkansas fell 78-63 in the SEC championship game to No. 1 overall seed Kentucky to enter the tournament with a 26-8 mark. The Wildcats enter the NCAA tournament a perfect 34-0.

Kentucky will face the winner of the first round’s Manhattan-Hampton matchup in the Midwest Region. LSU will be the No. 9 seed while Georgia is the No. 10 seed in the East.

The Razorbacks entered the SEC tournament ranked No. 21 in the country and with four wins against teams ranked in the top 50 in the RPI, including Georgia in the SEC semifinals. Arkansas did not have a win against a team ranked in the top-25 as the Hogs were 0-3 (Kentucky twice and Iowa State).

Bobby Portis was named the SEC player of the year after averaging 17 points and eight rebounds during the regular season. Michael Qualls adds 15 points and five rebounds a game including a team high 18 points in the SEC title game.
