FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - After being held to a single run in the series opener, LSU responded with 23 runs over the next 18 innings to take the SEC series at Baum Stadium.
The No. 2 ranked Tigers got six RBI from the top of their lineup and took the rubber game 7-4 over the Razorbacks. Mark Laird, Alex Bregman and Conner Hale each drove in a pair of runs for LSU.
Joe Serrano led the Arkansas offense with three RBI, including a two-run home run in the 7th to pull Arkansas within 5-3.
Trey Killian was sharp again on the mound for Arkansas but was saddled with the loss after throwing six innings while allowing three runs and struck out one.
Arkansas falls to 11-11 on the season and is 1-5 in the SEC.
