FORT SMITH (KFSM) – A free child safety seat check will be happening in Fort Smith Saturday (April 11).
Certified child safety seat inspectors from the Fort Smith Police Department will be out at The Pavilion, making sure all child’s safety seats are installed correctly. They’ll also replace any recalled or unsafe seats free of charge. Parents who make it out will also get some paperwork on making sure their child is safe in the car.
The safety check begins at 9 a.m. and wraps up at 1 p.m.
