FORT SMITH (KFSM) - On May 12th Fort Smith residents are planning to vote on whether five percent of an annual one-cent sales tax should go towards building 35 miles of biking and walking trails. But one man is opposed to such act.

For a "5NEWS This Morning" segment that aired Sunday (April 19), anchor Daren Bobb spoke to Jerry Fleming of "Save Our Streets Fort Smith." He tells 5NEWS the city is running a deficit and that the Board of Directors have no plans to address it.
